A graduate of La Sierra University with a degree in Music, is currently pursuing his Master’s studies in Choral Conducting at California Baptist University. Ernesto has demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication in choral direction throughout his musical journey.

As a choral conducting student, Ernesto has had the privilege to collaborate with various ensembles, where he has garnered recognition for his remarkable leadership skills. He has served as the director for esteemed groups such as Sierra Linda Master Chorale, Camerata Chorale, and First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood.

Drawing from his experience as a chorister, Ernesto has gleaned invaluable insights from renowned choral conductors, absorbing their diverse techniques and styles. This wealth of knowledge has enriched his approach to interpreting choral Music, enabling him to inspire and guide his ensembles with precision and passion.

Currently serving as the Choral Director at First Lutheran Church of Redlands, Ernesto continues to nurture the musical talents of his singers, fostering a community of harmony and expression. With his dedication to excellence and profound understanding of the choral art form, Ernesto Herrera stands as a beacon of musical leadership in the choral world.
